Popular nationally syndicated radio program You Bet Your Garden won’t be going away after its cancellation at WHYY earlier this week after all. Instead, the show, hosted by Mike McGrath, will now be produced by Bethlehem’s WLVT/PBS39.
Can you use compost to start seeds?
Begin with two parts compost as your base. All parts are measured by volume, so it doesn’t matter what you use to measure your ingredients, so long as you’re consistent. The compost slowly releases nutrients into the mix, which will help to feed seedlings as they grow.
