What are SAG franchised agents?
A franchised agent is someone who has entered into an agreement with the Union setting forth certain terms and conditions of a SAG-AFTRA member’s relationship with an agent. Although agents primarily seek out work opportunities for actors, they often do much more.

Is it good to join SAG?
If you’re not looking for full-time work as an actor, the fee that comes with joining a union may not be worth it to you. However, if you’re looking for the best paying and highest quality work, joining SAG/AFTRA may be the best choice for you.
How long does it take to join SAG?
Background actors will receive a SAG voucher, which counts towards 1/3 of membership. SAG says the Principal Taft Hartley Report will take at least 6-8 weeks to be filed. However, the union will not begin this process until production has sent in all of their final SAG production paperwork.
How long is a SAG work day?

Can SAG actors do YouTube videos?
The content may only be distributed on the influencer’s and/or advertiser’s websites, social media feeds and YouTube channels. The content cannot be combined with another covered service or used in other mediums within SAG-AFTRA’s jurisdiction (e.g., TV, traditional commercial or industrial use).
Can I have two agents as an actor?
yes, you can have more than one voice-over agent, but you gotta know how to work with multiple agents and you’ve got to understand a little bit about that process. Agents are not really thrilled when actors work with more than one agent and it’s for the obvious reason: because they’re all competing for the same work.
