What is the OpenTable reservation widget?

The OpenTable widget allows diners to search for and book reservations on your website at a discounted rate to you. To Access the Reservation Widget section, Login to your OpenTable account on the website. Click on the three white lines in the upper right corner to open the menu. Select Restaurant Profile then Reservation Widget

How to cancel a reservation on OpenTable?

If Cancel reservation is selected, a pop up will appear to confirm to cancel the reservation, select Yes to confirm The reservation can also be adjusted from the confirmation email that is received after the reservation is made. If you do not have an OpenTable account, this is the only way to modify the reservation.

How do I set up non-standard dining tables on OpenTable?

Offer your restaurant’s non-standard dining tables for reservations on the OpenTable applications. Categorize tables on your floor plan as either, bar, high top, outdoor or counter and online diners will be offered this non-traditional seating when your standard seating is not available. Create table type combinations in the Availability setup

When will open table open and close?

Open Table will be closed starting Friday, December 24th and will reopen on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. During the first week of January, pre-packed bags will be available. There will be no online orders.

How are parties system assigned to tables in the OpenTable app?

When a diner selects non-standard table availability in the OpenTable iPhone and Android apps, the party will automatically be system assigned to an appropriate table. Booking of a “High-Top” table from the web is automatically system assigned to a High-Top table. In addition, table category types will appear in the Visit History Card.
