What is the purpose of NSTP and Cwts?
NSTP-CWTS 101 (Lecture) is a program designed to enhance the civic consciousness of students by developing the value of service and commitment for the welfare and betterment of life of all members of the community.
What Cwts students do?
CWTS is a civic education and defense preparedness training that involves values integration and transformational leadership, as well as enhancing civic consciousness and commitment of students.
What is the role of NSTP in the community?
The primary objective of the NSTP law is to promote the role of the youth in nation-building. As such, it aims to encourage the youth to become civic and/or military leaders and volunteers whom could be called upon by the nation in cases their services are needed.
Why do we need to study NSTP?
WHY DO WE NEED TO STUDY NSTP? NSTP or the National Service Training Program is needed in a college’s curriculum because it instills in our youth a sense of patriotism for our country. It also prepares them to be socially aware and responsible individual members of the community.
What is importance of NSTP?
The NSTP aims to promote and integrate values education, transformational leadership, spirit of patriotism and nationalism and sustainable social mobilization for youth development, community building and national security.

What do you think will become of NSTP CWTS graduates?
Graduates of the CWTS and LTS components of the NSTP shall belong to the National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) and could be tapped by the State for literacy and civic welfare activities, especially in times of calamities while graduates of the ROTC program shall form part of the Citizen Armed Force.

NSTP-CWTS helped enhanced the female implementers’ ability to communicate, ability to listen and interpersonal relationship. It also made them very much aware of the importance of health education and applies in their daily life good values.
How is NSTP beneficial to the students?
Its main objective is to train and teach students to acquire various principles that will be helpful in the development of their life and the community. This program is so beneficial for it is one way for the students to learn and train to become well-disciplined and effective.
How does NSTP help students?
The findings of the study suggest that NSTP courses are effective and they influenced the self-improvement, performance, community involvement, and demonstration of abilities and skills of the students to an extent.
